- Donald Trump was born in 1946 in Queens, New York. He received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Trump worked with his father in his real estate development business before eventually taking over the company. As a businessman, Trump built an international conglomerate focused on real estate, media, licensing and others.
